Posted: 22 Mar 2019 08:30 PM PDT So i was cleaning my tank in preparation for a trip and noticed that my black racer netrite has disappeared. From what i can gather i cant find it anywhere. Im not sure if it died or not. My tank has a full glass lid that covers the top and tiny slits for the airline to get in to power the sponge filters. there are no decorations in there just plants. i use gravel substrate and there is no hob filter. i did a full gravel vacuum and did not find its shell anywhere. I have 4 stripped netrites in the tanks as well but they are super easy to spot. Anyone have thoughts on what happened? or where it might have gone? [link] [comments] | ||
Posted: 22 Mar 2019 07:12 PM PDT My giant Colombian Ramshorn (actually a type of apple) snail has liquid filled blisters on its shell. It also has solid bumps on the shell. I have it in a fish bowl because I didn't know they eat aquatic plants. I have a water hyacinth in there with some Golden pothos and snake plants. I just put a calcium supplement in there. The bowl is about 2.5 gallons and it's by a window so it grows algae. I feed him zucchini and flakes. I'm going to get algae wafers soon. Idk if the conditions are good for him. The fluid sacs and bumps are so odd! [link] [comments] |
