So recently my chagoi tore its fin . I have put it in quarantine, does it look okay already?

Also regarding my new filter system, im about to add some plants inside one of the chamber. I need to know how to disinfect a water plant and what are the media that you guys recommend?

Bought a house. Came with a pond. I want to take care of it and keep it. Help me do it right. Link and description inside.

Pond is about 9 feet by 5 feet. Foot and a half deep or so. Got on koi in it (his name is Bruce). The water seems to look ok and the fish are pretty active. But I want to make sure I'm taking care of them. All of them survived over the winter, I kept the water fall going even during major freezing temps and they all made it.

I'm a little confused and concerned about the filter. It seems right now the water level is too low? It's definitely lower than normal. I cleaned out as much debris as I could and sprayed off the black mesh screen as well.

I'm willing to do the work and invest in products I need to make it right. What do I need to do?
