 - 16 days ago I made a post saving this Dempsey from a bad home. She was near death and I thought she wasn't going to make it pass the first day. Shes still a little skittish but she looooks way better than before now. The wound she had on her abdomen is now closed and almost completely healed.

| Posted: 16 Jan 2019 06:04 AM PST So I bought some guppies on Saturday, 4 off, I've had my tank for a while and wanted some additions in with my two mollies. I brought the fish home and put the bag in the tank, switched the light off and let the temperature adjust as usual, after about 45 mins / an hour I released the 4 new guppies to their new home. They seem happy and hungry eating the flakes I put in for them. The next morning arrives and I switch the light on and they are all dead on the floor. My heart dropped, I couldn't believe it, this has never happened to me before with any of my fish. Quickly check the temperature and it looks a couple of degrees cold but nothing which would do this. I put in a couple of flakes for my mollies as I was going to be late for work and suddenly they all just wake up and starting eating the food and acting normally. It was only when I got to work and read about how the sleep on the ground that I realised everything was okay. Every morning I like to watch them wake up when I give them their food. I've never seen anything like it and I think they are an awesome fish, but damn they had me worried! [link] [comments] | ||
