| trying to start my first jarrarium and have a few questions Posted: 02 Jun 2022 09:26 PM PDT I want to add a few small shrimp like ghost shrimp and/or a couple snails I read that you should only use jars 3.5 gallons or larger if your going to use live invertebrates or the like but will a smaller 1-2 gallon jar work and if I use sand do I still need to use soil underneath the sand. | Posted: 02 Jun 2022 10:12 AM PDT Would you say that planted jars (aquarium) are a good way to start and find success? I have a 5 gallon tank with little to no growth. I wonder if a jar would be a good way to find success given less plants are required to load up the water column? [link] [comments] | ||
