Java moss growth

Posted: 08 Oct 2021 01:44 AM PDT

A small clump of Java moss (after a very slow start) is now (after about 6 months) a large mat about 25cm across. That's great, and the shrimps that will go into this tank when I get my new community tank will love it, I'm sure, but while doing some pruning a few days ago I realised it's not attached to the bogwood I've been growing it on. Merely draped over it, and only staying in place due to it's size. Is that normal? Another piece of Christmas moss has grown more slowly, but has attached firmly.

Seeing Improvement. Appreciate the help on my beginner shrimp tank. Wish I had the API test when I “thought” I was cycled. More suggestions always appreciated. Info in comments.

5 berried shrimp. First time having preggo shrimp.

Posted: 08 Oct 2021 12:41 AM PDT

Hello. At title suggests it my first time having berries shrimp. Seems to have happened all at once. Got some tips on water parameters then boom preggo. I have done some extensive gravel cleaning and been looking for baby food though I have plenty of biomaterial to go around. Any tips or nuances y'all go through would be much appreciated
