Planted and filled last night! Really excited about our “aquatainment center”
Happens 80% of the time
6 week progress 34 gallon
First attempt at an aqua scape.
I have a couple snails… too many?
Overgrown a bit? I’ve been slacking, not gonna lie. But I kinda like it this messy
I've battled with black algae for months now - I've tried minimising light, reducing feeding, UV sterilizer, carbon supplements, phosphate absorbers - and it's STILL overrun my tank. Please help - I'm almost at the point of giving up this hobby.

What plants need root tabs?

I recently purchased three types of plants: Java fern , Ambulia and lysimachia gold. I use leaf zone and flourish for my betta's 5.5 gallon fish tank and the plants in that tank are growing nicely. I also have been using the same for the 14 gallon the new plants are in.

I don't have much experience with aquatic plants so I don't know if what I'm doing is right or wrong.
