Meet Panda the Panda Oranda!! He is my favourite, he is the size of my fist and looks fatter and bigger in real life. I just wanted to share him as I have only had redit for a week and am enjoying seeing everyone's fish! He eats! Anubias & Java fern get a trim everyday! Are their any gf safe plants?

Got a $50 dollar Amazon gift card from work today. Any ideas as to what I should use it for?

I have 6 fancies and am wondering if there's anything I could use for them! I have air stones, solid filtration, sinking and floating pellets, as well as bloodworms. Just looking for little extra stuff that could be good for them. Thanks!

PSA: Be wary when changing food size. More in text.

I use new life spectrum regular goldfish pellets as my core food. They were out of stock so I got large. No problems, the food is still nowhere near as big as their mouths. Problem was the flow carried some of it under my driftwood and after releasing the same fish twice from being wedged foraging for it, I now have the driftwood sitting in the front yard. Just be careful of every little thing friends, observation is our only defence against the unforeseen. Fish is fine.

Saltbaths??

Posted: 14 Oct 2021 02:30 PM PDT

My girlfriends fish is currently in a hospital tank, she is treating her for dropsy. She looks markedly better than before, but how long should she stay in the hospital tank/how often should we add salt to the water.

Please advise, fishy sensei's.

Oranda darting around, very very fast.

https://imgur.com/a/DyvVTGs My goldfish is acting strangely and darting around, I just got home and he was doing this.

Recently he's been sitting at the bottom of the tank and not moving his mouth much. Ive had tank for around four months and he is currently alone.

0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, <5 nitrate

Im currently doing daily 50% water changes, though I'm unsure of what's wrong.

Edit: please ignore my room, the drawer is broken and won't close.

Best air pump for large aquariums? (120gal)

Posted: 14 Oct 2021 02:23 PM PDT

What air pump do you use/recommend? I'm thinking 500gph+ but im not really sure what im doing tbh lol gold fish are quite messy and itll be used for sponge filters so it needs to be quite powerful. Id prefer multiple air valves

My 29 cent goldfish are living their best lives in their pond. They successfully survived a winter and made four babies this summer!

How can I rehome some common goldfishes ? Does PetSmart or Petco take them?
