- In process shot of my shallow tank
- Sometime ya really have to get into work
- Likely a dumb question - am I supposed to remove the padding & support band at the bottom before planting?
- My shrimp keep disappearing!
- This fatass ate my cherry shrimp
- Lessons learned in the community tank. I will not be trying shrimp in here again.
- This is a bummer, I found my guppy out of the tank despite swimming fine last night. Dried up and gone. My ammonia seems to be 0, nitrite is 0, and nitrate 0, what happened?
- just did some cleaning up and the tank be shining
- He got up there on his own, he ate one of my smaller fish, he’s grown this big from the size of my pinky in a month. I’m scared.
- Over the moon with my set up. Took me years to get all the things I wanted and now its done. Come on you lovely plants, grow!
- Are my fish acting weird??, they seem to be to me but I'm new.
- The only pile of snails i actually enjoy watching. They look like bubblegum.
- Love the looks as lights dim in the evening
- Heres a some photos of my centipede knife fish
- I wanted to make something cool on a super low budget! Bettas in the 6gs, 55g is a community of various tetras & shrimp colonies, low tech.
- You guys helped me save my fish, thank you <3
- First time aquarium
- Prehistoric meeting
- Suggest oddball "centerpiece" fish for my 60 gallon guppy tank!
- My swimming crayfish.
- I hope my new rose bubble tip anemone stays in this nice cozy corner it found!
- Picked up a steal from my lfs, $35 for a flower horn because he’s been returned 3 times for aggression
- Starfish or Parasite? (Saltwater nano 9 gallon reef) i never added this thing, and wondering what it could be-
- my newest addition! love this pair
- Just a view of my Swordtail fry tank. These little guys will be going into a stock tub pond soon.

You guys helped me save my fish, thank you <3 Posted: 08 Oct 2021 11:44 PM PDT About a week ago I posted here about how in the wee hours of the morning, my fish tank heater had suddenly started smoking and my fish had been suddenly dying afterwards. I am still new to fishkeeping so I had no idea what was going on. After posting here for help and sharing the water parameters, you guys helped me figure out that it was a nitrate spike caused by the good bacteria dying off (whether it had been from the lack of new heater which got delayed in the mail or something leaking into the water from the old heater I don't know) but I got to work fixing it. I bought bacteria from the store and added it, only for there to be a cotton/fungus infection the next day, but fortunaely after dosing with ant-fungal and getting the new heater which had arrived by this point installed, the deaths stopped. I lost 32 baby guppies in total, but today Mama Guppy gave birth and both new brood and old brood are doing okay!! Thank you guys sosososo much for saving my tank, you guys really deserve all the good stuff <3 [link] [comments] | ||
