What is this carpeting plant?

Posted: 25 Jun 2021 06:08 AM PDT

No tank for about ten years. 3 months back into it.

Just had this simple idea to put plant-able pots filled with clay pellets for water-tolerant herbs and chives and such. Bad idea? Good idea? Looking for feedback. If dumb, I will delete in shame and return to the plain tank lid.

Its not much, but it's my first planted tank!

My 40 gallon tank, I built a planter box above it that is fed by a submersible pump with drainage back into the tank! Extra filtration!

Remove neon pothos roots from substrate?

Posted: 25 Jun 2021 06:24 AM PDT

Hi all. so i have a neon pothos cutting in my tank which has rooted into the substrate (dirt capped with gravel). it's in the front left corner, and i want to put it into the back corner.

should i trim the roots that have grown into the substrate (and leave them to rot?)? or pull them out, disturbing everything? bend the roots so they can stay rooted?

i'm scared the pothos will take nutrients from my other stem plants. i mainly have bacopa and lotus rooted in the substrate, how vigorous are their roots, will they be fine with an additional pothos rooted there? TIA

Ordered a bucephalandra through express mail (2-3 days) but now it's been 5 days and I think it'll arrive only on Monday. Will the plant make it?

Posted: 25 Jun 2021 05:51 AM PDT

Title! I ordered through the fastest method in my area but for some reason it will arrive very late. I spent almost 200 bucks on this plant and I'm hoping it deals fine with week long trips, like anubias and other rhizome plants does?
