- Me when my goldfish eat my new plants for the 300th time in a row...
- My new babies (arriving next week). Lemonhead and red and white Thai Orandas
- I got a goldfish from the fair over 3 years ago. He is in a 55 gallon and over the last year he has gotten really fat. It doesn’t look like dropsy, and otherwise he is insanely healthy. None of the other fish in the tank have this issue. What could it be?
- Why is his tail spiked up but the other one isn’t please help me
- Has anyone fed the tubidex worm to the fish? It's a nutrient-dense diet that's also healthy for fish. Unfortunately, the sole source of supplies is nature. I spent three years researching how to artificially raise it, and I encourage everyone to come see it.
- Last one's got a home!
- Why do my goldfish keep on swimming in the surface of the water?
- My rainbow goldfish in the morning light
- Is this dropsy, I don't think so, his scales aren't pineconed.
- Can’t find pearlscale for sale
- Tank places?
- What is this thing stuck to my goldfish's tail? It appeared just this morning (Yes, she is missing an eye)
- How do I make a traumatized fish more comfortable?

| Why do my goldfish keep on swimming in the surface of the water? Posted: 02 Jun 2021 10:10 PM PDT I just got some goldfish yesterday and my mother decided to put them in a tank that my aunt used to use. The goldfish that I got are just the typical common goldfish that can be found almost anyway nowadays. Anyways, I've observed a strange behavior that the goldfish are constantly swimming in the surface of the water and it had bothered me a lot. I feel that the fish may be feeling overcrowded or there might not be not enough oxygen in the tank because of this. I don't know if what I'm thinking is 100 percent correct and I would really appreciate it if someone would help confirm it. I would also love to know on how I could resolve this problem as soon as possible as I really do care for these goldfish. Thanks for the help in advance! [link] [comments] | ||

| How do I make a traumatized fish more comfortable? Posted: 02 Jun 2021 03:56 PM PDT So, last week I adopted a goldfish from the local animal shelter of all places. He was a surrender because somebody found him in someone's hot car on the dashboard and turned him in. Currently, he is in a quarantine tank with a few fake plants and some pea gravel. He is quite small and so far has been doing real good. He eats just fine and acts alright, but when any motion is around the tank, he goes absolutely bonkers. The little dude startles at any noise and any movement around. I have dimmed the lights around the tank in attempt to make him more comfortable but I'm wondering if there is anything else I should do? Should I add a little cave for him? Should I add more plants? He get's water changes every other day because he is in a 10 gallon currently, but he will be moved into my pond with the other goldfish as soon as a small spot on his back fin heals up completely.
