Help! Cloudy tank and a crayfish trying to escape...

I hope someone can point me in the right direction. Ok, a quick timeline rundown.

  1. It's been about 5 weeks since we got our first aquarium and cray so we are new to all this.
  2. She always tried to climb out but it hasn't seemed like it was because of anything wrong until recently
  3. On March 26 we put this in her tank... https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Z7PRV65 cause she just loves climbing and really wanted to stick her head out of the water.
  4. I let the filter go a little too long and changed it on Jun 2 (about 8 days ago now) - I rinsed the filter in cold tap water.
  5. After the filter change, the water over the next few days seemed to get very cloudy (see photo)
  6. Since then she spends most of her time in her little cave and doesn't come out, but when she does she spends most of the time doing that fast-backward thrust trying to jump out of the water. And it's been difficult to tell how much she's been eating.
  7. I performed a 30% water change on Sunday evening Jun 6 - I wanted to wait a little longer cause I just changed the filter but I was worried about the condition of the water.
  8. Unfortunately, this has not helped.

Please help! I'm worried about her.
