Acclimating my snail children!
My snails are eating up my carpeting plants and now there are none
How many snails?
Is my baby Gary dead? Also can other mystery snails kill/hurt each other?
Mystery Snail laying eggs..do I just leave them be? I have 5 clutches, all pretty small.

I was in the process of making my betta a planted tank. I expected the snails to eat my duck weed but it seems they have munched up all of my carpeting plants I had. Should I not plant any new ones considering they eat them ? Or are there any they won't eat. I have 1 mystery and 1 racing snail.

How many snails?

I've got a 10 gallon planted tank with a female betta and 4 ember tetras. How many snails can you add? What kind would go well? Do they count towards the 1 inch per gallon rule? Weekly water changes and no issues with parameters. ETA: My daughter loves snails, so we would like to add some snail friends. (We have two aquariums but the 10 gallon is in her room.)
