Filtration suggestions

I am once again asking for your filtration recommendations.

I have a 125 gallon using an all in one with uv at the moment. The fountain snapped off so I just want to replace the whole thing with something different. I battle with algae constantly. It's so bad it clogs the not only the pre filter but the impellers as well. I have to clean it out every other day.

I was thinking a canister filter but most of them have the pump at the bottom of the pond. I think I'll still have the same problem with algae clogging the filters.

I've basically given up on controlling the algae. I've cut feeding, increased water changes, added plants, installed poles for shade cloth, etc

Hello, I'm sorry as I am new to Koi and this sub so if this is all over the place I apologize. I moved into this house with a pond and I'm trying my best. Just now, the filter snapped on the return for the filter. Does anyone know what I should do? The picture is the problem. I've already lost one because storm knocked out power and shut off filter so lack of oxygen. Please help any advice is appreciated!
