I killed my sealed pond water jar i am seeking advice on how to make a sealed jar?

Im just really interested in making something sealed so i dont get mosquitos in my house. Should I just scoop up some pond dirt and water and leave it? Can i get floating plants in or a moss ball to live with out opening the jar? Considering setting it outside to help the moss to produce oxygen first before sealing it would that work?

Im gathering plants and substrate for my terrarium and was wondering if the moss, plants etc will die or not grow if I place it and leave it in a ziplock bag for a day or 2

What are these eggs? Jar contains snails and single ghost shrimp.
