He was busy hugging jis brother the other day and then today he wasnt moving, or his gills werent either. after some pushing him a bit with the feeding tongs he woke back up and tried biting them, please help if this happens again, I am gonna do waterchanges again too

Is a 36” long tank good enough for one axolotl?

I've been looking into getting an axolotl and I have an empty 30 gallon tank. It is 36 inches long 12 inches wide and about 16 inches tall. Most recent of the people I've been watching said a 20 long tank pretty sure that my tank is longer than that but I am just checking. Ty

Red Root Floaters for Axolotl?

Hi guys! I have a little 5 gal planted tank as well as my axie—the red root floaters have completely taken over that tank...I have a lot of excess, so I was wondering if anyone has had any experience growing red floaters in axolotl conditions? It seems like a waste to throw the overgrowth away when they're so pretty and I would rather just throw some in my axie tank. Thanks!

Is my axolotl stressed? The ph is good but the calcium in the water is a little high. If it is stressed can someone please give me tips to make him not stressed.
