Someone dropped them off at my LFS on a Saturday evening and they discovered them Monday after being closed all day on Sunday

There were multiple snails in this tiny enclosure and I took home a big one.

He hasn't moved (but has come out) since placing him in my 60 gallon

What should I do?

Editing to add they were in a plastic baggie.

Yes I know 2.5 gallons is too small. Long story, but I’m keeping 2 mystery snails until the grass in my teachers tank grows (10 gallons, and it’ll only take about a week) and then they go to the bigger one. So anyways, meet Pedro and Maria. (Pedro is hiding on a plant)
