Best way I could think of to cover the ugly sump compartment on a Fluval Evo converted to betta use.

Which one is the best ? Also any recommendations?
My first tank. 29 gallons. Still have lots I want to do to it. What would you guys suggest I do differently?? Add more plants? Drift wood?? I have 6 guppies, 2 diamond tetras, 4 Corydoras, 2 nerite snails and about 15 rcs.
