Can someone explain this to me please

I can't wrap my head around the basics of starting a jarrarium/terrarium. I feel stupid haha.

I have 2 regular sized mason jars/ One has a lighted top. I've got a bunch of glass jars that are smaller too. I'm very into fish keeping and planted aquariums so i have many many aquarium plants that i'm hoping i could use for this. I have activated charcoal (google said that's useful) Sea glass, Pebbles, potting soil, snails, and more stuff i'm hoping will be useful.

I have a lot of java moss, moneywort, elodea, hornwort, undulatala, cardinals, hair grass, marimo moss balls, and other plants as well.

can anyone advise me what direction to go in? I'd like to make a closed jar. I would flip for a simple step by step on how to get started. And where to place, etc. Or just some simple pointers. I'll take anything haha.
