Went out looking for crayfish today and found this Rusty Crayfish (Orconectes rusticus) with one claw bigger than the other! He was actually dragging it like dead weight. Any thoughts on what happened to it?

CPO parameters?

Hi guys for the first time in a year my LFS has CPOs! I'm in love and planning to get 3.

However their parameters aren't much like my tap. That's ok, they will go in their own tank with RODI - I have a cycled one ready to go.

But of course I want them to thrive so I would really love to know what the CPO keepers here have personally had success with and if they used RODI what products they used to get it. I notice the GH isn't listed as much as the KH, assuming KH is for calcium for molts.

I have saltyshrimp and the aqua vitro shrimp mineral line, as well as a full water test set with gh/kh. And a few 5g vats. I don't mind getting cuttlebone or anything else.

Crayfish stopped molding

My brown-blue ish crayfish (i got him from a first owner with 0 information, originally there were two but he killed his mate) hasn't molded in months(almost a half year!!) now! He also hides a lot more nowadays and doesn't eat as much. I gave him a water change, sand change, cleaned the aquarium, tried different food, everything. I'm really worried for him! Is this normal? Any suggestions?

My lovely boy is died this morning �� I don't know what i did wrong? I changed half of the water once a week. I added cuttlebone for calcium. He has food and all... He was sitting in wierd shapes for few days. I tought he will molt. But this morning he was dead��������������
