| Posted: 15 Mar 2021 08:50 AM PDT Massachusetts resident here. Has anyone else in New England lost koi over this past winter? I had 5 huge koi die. For years they have been overwintering under the ice, with a just small heater to keep a hole in the ice for aeration. Early in January we had quite a thaw, they were all swimming near the top like spring was here, then we had a cold snap and the pond froze again. Too much of a temp change too fast? None had any signs of disease. [link] [comments]  |
