| Posted: 17 Nov 2020 08:51 PM PST What skimmer would you guys recommend? Looking for a low profile skimmer that would fit in one of the chambers. Dont like the looks of the reefglass I like the tunze 9004 skimmer but don't think it would fit [link] [comments] | ||

| Turning a canister filter into a sump Posted: 17 Nov 2020 11:02 PM PST Hello All I currently have a canister filter on my tank that sits on the floor and two tube run over the sides of the tank and into the water, no drilled holes needed. I have a 60g Rubbermaid that I would like to convert into a sump without adding any more electrical requirements than I already use in terms of number of plug ins. I also don't want to/can't drill holes as the tank is already established. If I take the canister filter and drill small holes or one large hole, and submerge the canister into the Rubbermaid filled with water. it should still act as the the intake/outtake from the original tank?
