Month 2: Upgraded my Aquaclear 20s to 70s, ditched the UV sterilizer, and refuge for the time being. I’m also not adding fish until January. Lastly I’m highly considering another light to fill in the shaded areas.

Clownfish finally found her home in the anemone. After numerous attempts to get them to pair up, finally decided to just let nature take its course. After about a month I woke up to this. The male still wants nothing to do with it, but I’m sure it’ll happen join the fun. We are pumped!

At first I thought it was just his shell, which my BTA has eaten before...but after he missed breakfast I went looking. Nope, no shrimp. He got a little too close to the nem and got monched.

RIP: Raymond "Shrimp Boy" Chow 2019-2020. You'll be missed. Until I change the water and get another one then I'll forget, but for a moment I'll be inconsolable.

My Mountain Dew Toadstool has a polyp growing on another polyp. Has anyone else had this happen with their toadstools?

Here are some phone backgrounds you could use! I really like my zoas. Especially the one with a green starburst in the center.

great news! someone sold me a 55 gallon fish tank. i would love to eventually make it a reef tank , problem is, i don't know much about fish. like at all. i will leave the tank alone in my garage until i'm knowledgeable enough to clean it properly and start to fill it with proper substrate and corals etc etc etc. i'm not here asking for paragraphs of advice, but i would appreciate some links to helpful websites, books, youtube channels even? i'm closely watching this sub to learn as well. i hope i can begin within the year! thank you so much, you guys are crazy talented.
