• Day 1
• I think its about time for a good trimband a rake.
• Back with a 7 day update! Slowly but surely that Rolala will fill the background!
• Love the two hours a day where the sun hits my tanks.
• A few months in. Plants are filling in! I’m keeping it trimmed down for now to help thicken it a bit at the base. See if you can spot the Zelda reference.
• Planted my 5gal today!
• Went to petco for new tongs, found this baby 3-stripe cory all alone in a dirty tank full of tetras. He was so happy to join my 30 gallon and get to know his new family. Grow up fast little guy!
• Sold my tank after 1 year, goodbye friend!
• 2 months growth update since rescaping my 125g no CO2 community tank. Top pic is growth after one month, bottom is today.
• Introducing myself with a cell phone picture of my 1-yr-old, 50-gallon, dirted Walstad-style community tank! Pic from 1 year ago included in comments, just for fun.
• Red root floaters flowering.
• What do you all think of my scape? My first planted tank.

• A little movement to a healthier spot and pulled this out with crazy root system!!!!

• Basically a pile of seiryu stone and anubias. About 4 weeks old!
• Java Fern Growth Problem - I had bad luck growing java fern. After I bought them, they typically will have new growth and then 2 things will happen: 1. Older big leaves will start to turn brown and die off 2. New growth is smaller. Is it some sort of nutrient deficiency?
