Diatom & Green Algea? Is it okay?

Posted: 05 Nov 2020 02:19 AM PST

Hello, I'm quite new to this hobby 😄, I do love this look the algea is giving. However my plants.... their new leaves are really light colored, could that be a problem? I actually want the hair algea to grow on the rocks. My nitrate and ammonia levels are okay, I have some root tab below where I planted the plants, I wonder why the new leaves are whiter :-( lack of a specific nutrient?

Also, I have some floaters. I do have 2 ottos and like 7 shrimps in the tank.
