I got a new tank. Set it up, all was well. Decided I hated it and wanted to redo it. I know I saw the snail at one point. And now, almost a week later, I haven't seen the snail at all. It's worth noting that there is no lid on my tank right now, so he may have just crawled out. But I think it's probably more likely I accidentally buried him. Substrate is only about an inch deep in the front, but towards the back, it's up to 5-6 inches. Should I go digging for him? I have fluorite, so if I dig for him it's going to get really dirty in there. Can they live and eventually make their way out?

Mystery Snails Mating

I have two snails in a 10 gal tank. Today I noticed at feeding time that my larger mystery was mating with my much smaller one. I'm worried about him hurting her because he's almost twice her size. Should I try and poke his foot to get him to detach or will that cause more harm?

I've ordered myself some MTS for my no tech nano fishbowl tank. I'm super excited to get them! If anyone can give me some advice before they arrive I'd be greatful. I am aware they breed rapidly and that's a reason why I got them.
