Errrmagerrd I'm a little more than a little excited right now!

I just was doing a check up on my crays and I noticed that what I could see of my little baby guy's antenna sticking out of his usual hiding spot in his little mushroom hut looked longer and quite a bit more pale than usual. He's been acting mostly normal, aside from creating a little hill in his hut's doorway, but I didn't think much of it. Had just turned out his light so I did a quick check with a flashlight to catch a glimpse of him, which I did for a moment but he backed up from the light so I barely saw anything. Then noticed his old shell laying on it's side in front of where he's standing 😃😃😁🎉🎉

Not gonna lie, he's the very first one I've ever had that didn't die when they needed to molt, I'm super excited. Didn't really see it coming, but he handled it just fine. Okay, I should not say that yet because I haven't actually seen him in full. I just know for sure he's alive and at least his head and carapace made it out just fine, and what I saw of his molt looked like at least one claw came out smoothly. Fingers crossed the rest of him is healthy and in one piece! He's a feisty little one so I hope he's just as lively as ever once he's hardened enough to come out of hiding!
