| Male discharging clear slime/mucus Posted: 06 Nov 2020 09:17 AM PST It's not spermaphores, I've seen em before. Below is some context in case it helps: For the past 4 or 5 days, my male has been fridged when I noticed he wasn't moving in the tank. The tank was not new, nor was the water, but I suspect I stressed him out when I dug around the sand rearrange their decor. I've done this plenty before; I've heard they like a change of scenery now and then. But this time, I also used the net to sift through the sand and collect the rocks that were at the bottom of the tank. They'd never caused a problem before, but I figured it was time to get them out. The female that was also in that tank is healthy and happy. I'm feeding her regularly and she's moving around fine. The male, on the other hand, has been getting salt baths due to a (now seemingly gone) fungal infection. I still have him fridged, but I'm now noticing a crystal clear slime/mucus discharging from his anus (I think his anus). Anyone experienced this before? I was thinking of putting him back in the tank soon as I've finished clearing out the small rocks. Thoughts? [link] [comments] | ||
| how to prevent mould in worm bins? Posted: 06 Nov 2020 10:47 AM PST I recently haven't been able to stop mould growing in my worm bin and how would i stop it? Is it even an issue? Worms are decomposers and naturally would come into contact with mould on decaying matter but is it harmful if the worms are in contact with mould and are then fed to an axie? [link] [comments] | ||
