- Someone asked me to post this here - My wabi kusa inspired set up - Day 1 after planting
- My first jar: looks kinda messy, but I kinda like it. It came from a forest behind my house.
- My first Jarrarium
- Hi guys! I need help to ID this spider looking critter! First time seeing it. Moves really slow. Maybe pregnant.
- Not the prettiest, but I love seeing the root system. Suggestions welcome!
- Can anyone identify these little bobbers?
- A peek of my anubias valley.
- I have a jararium made from local (Canberra, Australia) river. Does anyone know what this is? He hitchhiked, along with a few other critters. He's maybe 1mm long, hard to photograph :)
- Will remove if not jar enough. Not Jarrarium yet. Trying to grow out some cuttings for a mangrove bonsai/aquarium/terrarium/something. Noticed a bug molted and the exoskeleton was stuck to the bottom of the leaf. If you look closely you can see where the bug broke through. ~4-5mm in size.
- I’m looking to get springtails.
- Thanks for all the replies to ID the dragonfly nymph! Here’s a little time lapse from last night.
- What is this cloudy film stuff on top of my gallon jug? Is the jug getting too much sunlight maybe? (My smaller one just went to shit so I’m hoping to make sure this one stays alive)
- Thoughts on growing ivy on jars?
- Do jarrariums prefer light or darkness?

| I’m looking to get springtails. Posted: 10 Sep 2020 10:54 PM PDT I'm starting up a paludarium and I'm trying to get some springtails for it. I live in Oceanside area CA and was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to cultivate some from the wild as I have no money to buy them. I am aware that they are cheap but I have no money whatsoever. If anyone has any tips on where I can find them or hood ways to cultivate them please let me know. [link] [comments] | ||

| Thoughts on growing ivy on jars? Posted: 10 Sep 2020 07:34 PM PDT Hii, I started growing growing ivy hidroponicaly (on water) a few days ago, but I don't know id it will start growing new roots and survive. I've been adding fertilizer (home made) to provide nutrients. Do you have any tips or thoughts on it??. Thank you [link] [comments] | ||
| Do jarrariums prefer light or darkness? Posted: 10 Sep 2020 11:55 AM PDT Some rain water I collected and put on a jar has mosquito larvae and some weird worms that I guess are nematodes. I want to put it inside my vivarium indoors, but one side of the vivarium receives light from the window and the other doesn't. And btw, does it need ventilation? I currently have a mesh over it but I'd like to seal it completely. [link] [comments] |
