Jarrariums - Had this giant jar sitting around for a while now, so decided to see what I could just find about the place, and got given the succulent cuttings in the middle. A couple of little hitch hikers in here but thinking need some more bugs in the future, and maybe some leaf litter.

20 day update, and a question.

I’ve had my two jars for about 8 days now and it feels like everything except the plants are dying in both, any clue to what’s happening? (I live in Wisconsin and we’re starting to get colder weather, not sure if that’s a variable)

How to catch insects for closed terrarium

Posted: 13 Sep 2020 02:02 AM PDT

Hello guys, I made a closed terrarium with pillbugs and millipedes Now I need some predators or they will kill all the plants I was looking for brown centipedes or beetles but I can't find them So I tried setting some pit fall traps and I'm currently waiting for the results

Do you guys know some other effective way to catch these insects?

I would also like to have springtails and earthworm in my terrarium but I can't find them, any tips?

Maybe I was in the wrong spot.. idk
