Does anyone have any idea why my water would turn foggy? It’s perfect water levels, so I’m stumped. Just put our friend in there last night :(

A lullaby I made for our fat boy

Our two new bois (I think lol), Bimmer and Bentley. My first fish and any tips are welcome! Have a 20gal tank with some decor and a pump. Plans to increase tank, add a filter, and possibly add one more fish (the one we left behind)

Two days ago my goldfish jumped out of tank and found him several hours later. His fins and slime layer seem in bad condition, and i need advice for treatment

Show me your tanks!

As well as being generally interested in seeing everyone's tanks, I'm also looking for some decor/planting ideas! I'm planning a re-scape soon, my large driftwood piece is bugging me - its hollow and has holes in the top so of course food falls through, and its just unwieldy. And I'm probably going to get rid of my smaller leafed plants until I can get my diatom issue sorted :(

Fin Rot treatment

Posted: 20 Sep 2020 07:54 PM PDT

Hey all! I'm just looking for some advice on treating fin rot for my two goldies, one of them brought it in from the store and the other caught it pretty fast, I had them in a 10 gallon doing a salt treatment for almost a week and they looked all better and almost completely healed so I slowly transferred them back to their big tank. They were fine for a day and then I came in the next and they were looking worse than ever. They are now back in the salt treatment again at 0.2% salinity, does anyone know what else I could do to help them? I've been looking into antibiotics but I can't seem to find one that's know for helping with fin rot except for melafix which I've been told is a scam? Any advice would be appreciated as this is my first time dealing with this and I want to get my goldies back to health ASAP!

Is my fish developing colour or is it sick?

Posted: 20 Sep 2020 07:56 AM PDT

So I had this fish for a few months. She's very pale yellow-whiteis color and kinda transparent, you can see her insides and spine. (comet goldfish if that matters)

Recently she started developing black patches on her skin. I read it can be parasites but I treated my water with anti parasites stuff so that's not it I think? She acts normal, eats well and swims around.

Could it be that she's just starting to develop some color? I can send you pictures if needed.

edit: 2 other fish don't have this problem
