Never had shrimp - some beginner questions Posted: 04 Aug 2020 09:34 PM PDT Hey r/shrimptank! Sorry if there's an info section on this already, I had a glance and didn't spot one specifically. I have fish tanks and know about cycling etc, however I have just picked up a couple of smaller tanks and was hoping to set them up as planted shrimp tanks. I'd like to know what shrimp would be good for a beginner. I'd ideally like the blues and the reds which are translucent, rather than a solid colour (they would be in separate tanks from each other), but I don't know what these would be called or if they are beginner appropriate. I've only really kept bettas and a smallish community tank, so I'd love any advice you guys would be willing to throw at me. (Really, anything a beginner should know, whether it be feeding, parameters, what to avoid, the whole lot!) Thanks in advance!! [link] [comments] | ||
