- My ludwigia is looking a bit sparse, but I don’t think I can ask for much more than I’ve got from a no tech tank; I’m extremely happy with how it’s turned out :)
- A corner in my office where I can be peaceful
- Oto catfish gently cleaning the delicate leaves of my rotala
- All clean :)
- Badis never lets me get a photo. . . . a rare sighting . . .
- Tree!
- Suggestions for stocking my 6.5 gallon tank?

- bonsai shrimp tank
- I’ve never had much luck with carpeting plants, but the rotala is growing well, I already have a section started, what do you think about covering more of the bottom? As long as I keep it short
- Algae!!! Help!!!
- My 10g planted tank. Paradise fish, danios, and salt and pepper corys.
/r/plantedtank's Weekly Random Acts of Kindness! Posted: 31 Jul 2020 03:04 PM PDT The Purpose: We all perform tank maintenance. Sometimes, perfectly good plants end up in the trash because they simply outgrow their limited environment. Why not share these plants with another hobbyist? This monthly thread offers a space where buyers and traders can congregate, promote biodiversity, and make the world better. Offering other aquarium-related items for sale or trade is also acceptable, but keep in mind this is a "Random Acts of Kindness" thread. All equipment and plant-life should be offered in either trade or for as cheap as is possible. If you'd like to offer your homemade ferts, foods, or other equipment for retail sale, please visit the plantedtank.net's forums. Posting retail items for sale is not appropriate in this thread and those comments will be removed with a polite warning. The Rules: 1. If you would like to post a "WTB" (want to buy) or ISO (in search of), you must also offer items for RAOK or trade in the same comment. "WTB/ISO" posts that do not offer anything in return will be removed to keep this thread in line with its intended purpose.

Posted: 01 Aug 2020 01:15 AM PDT This is my first tank and I need some veteran guidance. its a ten gallon with hydrilla, hornwort, alligator weed and a moss ball. As for critters it has two adult mystery snails and a few babies, one rams horn, one pepper Cory, two rosy red minnows, one banded killifish, one gourami and one African dwarf frog. It sounds like a lot but honestly it isn't but the green hair algae has gotten way out of control and it is all over my plants (mainly the gator weed) it has even formed a carpet which I actually don't mind. I don't think the fish care cus the water is clear and doing just fine I just really hate having to scrub the glass every two days. Another issue I have run into is being gone every other week as i am thirteen and have to go back and fourth to my fathers house and my mom can feed them but I don't want to put a huge burden on her. If anyone has any ideas PLEASE let me know!!!! [link] [comments] | ||
