UGLY water!!!! Weak tea looking tannin water?! Turns out my driftwood is leaching tannins into my water (yeah I know it has benefits but it is so unappealing). Anyone have experience with Seachem Purigen? It is the only thing I have seen in my research that might help.

Bon voyage hitchhiker

You were a speedy f**er

A surprise when you appeared

r/plantedtank made me worry you would produce too many peers

You ate the algae and biofilm

Your movements provided entertainment like a blockbuster

Did you slimily squirm out or did I thoughtlessly drop you?

All I know is the water change made you the neighborhood ants' afternoon stew

Now you float dead in the tank that was your lively home

Your legacy —

A shell and this shitty poem

Macro photo of Rotala ramosior Florida~ A true US native... Cory Hopkins sent me 4 stems a few years ago, from that batch I propagated and sold/gave samples to various countries Indonesia, Maldives, Thailand, Malaysia, India, the Netherlands. What was once rare here is now grown by many hobbyists
