| Posted: 21 Aug 2020 01:34 PM PDT Hi everyone! So about 1-2 weeks ago I put together a 0.5 gallon jar with 2 plants and a marimo ball. I was just about to a water change now, but I just noticed there are tiny snails in there! I hadn't bought any snails (only the plants) but now I am seeing 4 snails (there isn't any water conditioner so I am unsure how the snails have survived). I have no idea what to do now (do I keep them in there? do I have to get them a new tank?) ANY advice would be helpful! I also have the top of the jar open (so the plants have access to O2 and CO2) so should I close it so they don't get out?) also, how would I water change with them in there (they are so tiny I don't want to accidentally flush one down the drain!)?
