I live in a small town with no LFSs’. Visited LA today & thought I would just visit to look at LFSs’. LA has real LFSs’. Wound up impulse buying this desk top nano & super happy after just setting it up. Will add shrimp after cycling.

Wild shrimp in South China

Hello - I live and work in South China, and breed Neocaridina / caridina in a 'guppy tub' set up, with my best guys going into my display tank.

I am going on a little trip this weekend to find some wild shrimp - namely C. Conghuensis and C. Mariea, (the OG Tiger Bees) possibly also some C. Serrata. On recent trips, I have only found what locals refer to as '黑壳虾'- Black Shell Shrimp / 广东米虾－ Guangdong rice shrimp.

Anywho, will be updating this thread with pics of my finds this weekend.

I am shaking. I just saw the tiniest, brightest little 2mm long CRS in my tank crawling along a piece of moss. ;___; They're my first babies... I am so happy haha. I was having a really shit day.

Shrimp are the best. <3

I'm going to spend the rest of my day trying to get a photo of them now.
