Are cleaner shrimp known to eat bristle worms? Posted: 29 Jul 2020 12:16 AM PDT Noticed my cleaner going nuts and dashing around the tank, and sure enough, he grabbed a bristle worm and appears to be eating it. If anything, I was initially worried for the cleaner cause the worm is pretty large, but he seems okay and steadily picking at the worm. Realistically, he's doing me a favor lol. I know bristle worms are cleaners and can be beneficial, but still, I'd prefer not having them, and they're hard to remove manually since they're always in the rock. But is this common? I was more surprised than anything because of cleaners' extremely peaceful nature. Seeing my emerald or even my fire shrimp attack and eat a worm wouldn't have surprised me at all, but it's a very bizarre sight coming from the cleaner lol. [link] [comments] | ||
