Filteration advice for 1.2 gallon

I have a 1.2 gallon stocked with a baby betta who's about a half an inch ( will be upgrading once he gets bigger in a few months). Currently planted with hornwort, dwarf water lettuce and and duckweed. Are these plants enough for filteration or should I consider a small filter, preferably hob so it doesn't take up tank space? Im doing 20% wcs twice a week
