Add more Anubias you say? Because it’s the only plant my guys don’t dig up you say? Sure why not. Medium size one to the back right with the sword, and a small to the center left with the other two that have sprouted new leaves.

Anyone else have that one fish who just makes faces at you all day? This is G.D. obsessed with food, will relentlessly nibble hands & fingers.

How many single tailed goldfish can you put in a 60 gallon tank?

Posted: 24 Jul 2020 02:42 PM PDT

I decided I wanted to raise some feeder goldfish and they have a single tail and swim faster than the fancy type. Right now they're in a 10 gallon tank but I found out that apparently this size is way too small so I upgraded and bought a 60 gallon tank with an air pump.

Apparently when you buy them as feeder fish, they are juveniles and they can grow to be huge. Almost big enough to be caught using a fishing pole in a lake. By putting them in a larger tank, its much more humane and they can grow to their full adult size and live for years if i manage the water quality on a regular basis.

How many single tailed goldfish can you put in this tank? Right now I have two of them and want to add some more if I can. I also want to find some live plants that they won't destroy.

My fish got an x ray today, and it’s actually not the first fish of mine I’ve had x rayed. Let’s see if you guys can spot the problem.
