- Mr Krabs is looking super dramatic after his last molt! Do his markings make it any easier to ID? When I first caught him, he was almost completely brown.
- Euastacus valentulus, one of the very special Australian spiny crayfish
- Saw this cute little thing out in the wild
- Egg status
- One of my crayfish started molting and the others killed and ate him.

One of my crayfish started molting and the others killed and ate him. Posted: 22 Jul 2020 02:20 PM PDT I have 5 new river crayfish in a 10 gallon tank with tons of meticulously placed river rocks to make more than enough hiding places. One of the biggest crayfish, about 2.5 inches long, started molting. I left to go get dinner and when I came back he was dead and the other 4 crawfish were eating them. Why did this happen and how do I avoid this happening again? [link] [comments] | ||
