We've had our betta for a few months now, and he seems very happy. But we keep noticing damage on the tip of his tail. We have betta proofed the tank as much as we can; there arent any sharp or rough edges anywhere, and we've never seen him chewing on it himself or anything.

Is this a normal thing? It does grow back, and it doesn't look like any kind of disease that we can tell
