Safe to put tiger salamander larvae with axolotls?

I have two 6 inch Axolotls that are in a 40 breeder, and just got a tiger larvae that is about 5.5 inches. Is it safe to put them in the same tank until he begins to morph?

Do baby white Axolotls usually have white gills until older when they turn pink or does this indicate a problem?

axolotls gill has a white tip

hey guys so i've been reading more & more on the different diseases & things that can go wrong with axolotls & i've seen some people post about an axolotl whose behavior seems to be perfectly fine but there axolotl has like a white tip on there gill like the image below. I was wondering if anyone had an idea maybe what this is & what causes it & how to cure for it. I am just curious & always trying to learn more!
