Petition for conservation efforts for wild axolotls

Not sure if anyone has shared this petition on here yet, but seeing as we all enjoy these cute little creatures, I believe it's also important to support conservation efforts for them. Yes, our little ones aren't specifically endangered thanks to breeders and pet owners who decide to care for one of these adorable creatures, but the wild axolotls are still endangered and could go extinct. Therefore, although we would be keeping the species alive through pet trade, there would no longer be species in the wild. Axolotls are present only in one place in the entire world and that is Lake Xochimilco (so-chee-meel-co), a lake in the southern part of Mexico City. This lake is unfortunately under threat of drying up in addition to several other problems that pose a threat to Lake Xochimilco's ecosystem. This petition introduces four steps toward a solution: the first is for water conservation and cleanliness, the second is the reintroduction of canals and "chinampas" (which is a style of mesoamerican agriculture), the third is stopping the illegal growth of the urban area, and finally the promotion of sustainable tourism of high value (which from what I can gather is simply the prohibition of factories and other businesses that will create pollution in the area). This petition is in Spanish, that is why I tried my best to summarize it for those who don't speak the language. I am not the person who created this petition, but I'd be happy to try to answer any questions there may be.
