| This might be the dumbest question but here goes... Posted: 17 Jul 2020 09:54 PM PDT How do do you guys add dechlor to your ponds during a water change? If you are going to change say, 500 gallons, do you pour the amount the bottle says for 500 gallons into a measuring cup and pour it straight into the pond then just set your hose in the water? Or... do you mix it in a bucket and pour it in throughout the fill? Or... do you do like I do and put it into a sprayer that mixes water from the hose and the dechlor at the same time? It takes a long time to use the sprayer method and I want to make sure I'm not hurting my koi by just setting the hose in the water after pouring in the dechlor. Any tips? [link] [comments]  | ||
| Koi Hiding after New Additions... Posted: 17 Jul 2020 09:01 AM PDT I recently added four small koi to my pond which already has about 15 fish, some of which are a decent size. I expected the new fish to hide for a few days before being comfortable to swim with the others. However, since I put the new fish in, all of my koi have been extremely skiddish. I will see them all along the edge of the pond, but retreat into the depths as soon as they see me. Not like them at all. [link] [comments]  | ||
