Koi outbreak, Please help Posted: 04 Jul 2020 12:05 PM PDT Please help, my father and I have been keeping koi for as long as i can remember. Recently almost all of our fish have broken out in horrible ulcers and mouth/fin/gill rot. We've been treating with salt, warming of water and Aquascape ulcer and bacterial medication. Our pond is about 6000 gallons with a bog filter and skimmer. The water is near pristine and the pond is basically brand new. This is our fourth fish to die from this outbreak, including our largest and most prized 18 inch platinum who we named Moby. Luckily this one is the worst we've seen and the others don't look quite as bad. These fish are our pride and joy. I feel terrible for them and i just want to get them better.
