What do you do when your koi is too big to keep in your pond?

In Milwaukee, winters prevent us from keeping koi outside year round in our relatively shallow city plot pond. Our koi sometimes grow too big for the tank or pond. We have a 14" beauty now. What would you recommend we do?

I'm 17 and want to start a small koi business and hopefully one day make it bigger as I think it'd be a very fun rewarding job but I could almost make money doing it. I'm at least not low looking to breed for show, but are their any people with experience will to give advice

Super Easy DIY shower filter

Here's a shower filter we made out of extra materials and very easy to make. Very good pond filtration for mechanical and biological.

I lost them all :,(

So over the past year and a half I bought a house with a pond! I bought the filters tested the water quality did a bunch of research and installed a waterfall on my pond and acquired 6 beautiful koi including 15 goldfish. I was feeding them blue ridge koi food and everyone was happy to the point my butterfly koi ( Goldie ) was so docile I could walk up to the pond and pet her. I switched to blue ridge probiotic blend food. My wife and kids went on vacation to the redwoods camping and got a text from our caretaker with a picture.... my pond went to a milky brown color and everyone of my koi died..... could it have been the food? I had them on a feeding plan the water quality was great the only thing changed was the food... I guess my question is could it have been the food? When I left my fish seemed healthy as could be.

Breeding Koi

Posted: 07 Jul 2020 04:56 PM PDT

New here so hopefuly this isnt an obvious or common question. Is it regular to breed you own fish? I have seen and i generaly understand the proccess im a decently handy guy. Are there breeders that focus on "show fish" type things? I would just like to know the comunity's oppinion on the matter thanks in advance.
