- Off to pillage some algae
- So one of my fish tanks is in my wife's tattoo studio and one of her artist made this movie trailer about who killed the cleaner shrimp please watch. You'll get a good laugh
- Green on green
- New 20gal coming up!
- Can never go wrong with some zoas
- Thought the Fluval Marine LED would leave me wanting more but it’s honestly a great light. Would recommend considering price compared to more high end equipment.
- Corner shot? Got the new lenses!
- The whole gang is here
- PomPom crab riding a snail
- So I have two show tanks plus this quarantine tank with sumps a total of 370 plus gallons and this is the ONLY green hair algae I have. I think this crab cultivates it and guards it.
- New coral in reef tank
- It’s my cake day so here’s my fish
- Does anyone know what this creature is? Yellow tentacles with black segments.
- I always have trouble getting clear pictures of my coral with my iPhone but this one came out pretty nice!
- I ordered only 10 dwarf cerith snails....
- AI Prime HD burned a hole through housing!?!?
- Tiny snails all over. See the back wall? Anyone know if they are bad? They are white and have a hard shell.
- Acro Sharing a Monti Skeleton
- Fan Worm Obsession!
- Thinking of moving my 15g setup into a 20g that I had just open up. Anyone have any experience doing this?
- Pre-mixing Saltwater?
- What is going on here ? It was fine an hour ago
- Cool hitchhiker on new Monti. Can anyone iD?
- Should I be concerned with how my cleaner shrimp is going at my new Zoas with such fervor?

Posted: 04 Jun 2020 08:02 PM PDT I have developed a crazed obsession with fan worms of all kinds. Today I was wondering if any of y'all have ever made a tank that has a sh*tload of fanworms in it, or was dedicated solely to fan worms? I think that would be cool to see. May even try it myself sometime 😊 [link] [comments] | ||
Posted: 04 Jun 2020 08:00 PM PDT So, long story short, I recently got a 30 gallon and moved all of my freshwater community into it. So, as of now, I have an open 20g and empty tank syndrome! I'm currently running a fluval marine nano (just for some softies, nothing too intensive as I'm still new to reef keeping), my power head is more than good enough, and I have an aquaclear hob that filters roughly 300gph. Will my current equipment be good enough to properly filter a 20g instead of a 15? Also, if anyone has any tips on how to make the process easier, they'd be greatly appreciated. My currently plan is to fill a 5g bucket to keep my two clown fish in while transfering everything, then using a return pump and scoop to transfer the remaining water, I'll then move the sand over, and follow it up with the rocks! Posted: 04 Jun 2020 05:46 PM PDT Are there any drawbacks to pre-mixing and storing salt water in a bucket with a lid on it? I just had an emergency that requires a water change and now I'm sitting around waiting for the RO machine to finish making water which is something I'd like to avoid in the future.
