• 2 months into my first Walstad tank. Made some mistakes along the way, but I'm liking what the experience has taught me so far.
• Yesterday I posted about the leak in my just-flooded cookie jar. I have since moved my lava rock mountain to a 6g cube
• Finally getting a little red in my rotala
• Planing one adding some swords and anubias, what do y'all think so far?
• 10 Gallon Planted Tank, what would you add? First tank, low tech, betta + dwarf corys
• Flowering red root floater
• One of my rotala stems kinda looking like a star (no clue why it’s facing me but it made for an ok photo)
• Ok, I think this might be it.

Introducing - Project: Mangrove Posted: 29 Jun 2020 09:23 PM PDT No, this is not actually a mangrove tree. Its a species of schefflera. The goal is simple: get a commonly available species of not-mangrove tree to survive in a fish tank, mangrove style. So far everything has gone great. Its been in my tank for 4-5 months now, has grown a ton of roots that have needed trimming on multiple occasions, just recieved the first major trim to the canopy (I took like 3/4 of the top off), and is growing new buds on the trunk.
