Aquatic Koi Currently coming towards the end of our summer clear out of fish (we make room for new ones or just room for smaller fish e already have to grow on in). I decided to get a few of the small fish with potential out for a quick look..

What should I use to treat a wooden bridge that goes over my 4000 gal pond?

As the title says, I have a wooden bridge going over my pond. The wood needs to be retreated to help protect the wood. I've had the bridge for over 20 years and is still in good shape

What product should I use, or more important should I NOT use.

I plan on removing the bridge and power washing it before I treat it. I also plan on not reinstalling it for a couple weeks after it its finished.

I don't want to have anything get into the water, I just got new Koi after mine was all killed off last year. (neighbor kid threw something in the pond).

Thanks for any help you can give me.

I got this picture of them in the evening when they were settled down and resting in place blending in with the pond rocks, they always stick by each other. The water is super clear but because the walls are red it makes it look a little dark especially in the evening. Their names are Momiji and Ukiyo. (:
