Posted: 01 May 2020 04:39 AM PDT Hi! I'm a first time shrimpkeeper and have a 16L/4 gallon that I'm about to cycle with some fruval soil. I was thinking of starting off with some cherries initially but am concerned about it becoming too quickly overstocked due to breeding. I'm planning on having nothing else but shrimp in this tank. Might consider some other breeds if this one goes well? I do have a 60L/15 gallon currently housing a betta and bristlenose but I wouldn't be willing to trust my betta boy with any of these tiny guys haha Should I just forget about a shrimp tank and put something else in there? Edit: actually, is there another shrimp species that isn't as prolific as a breeder and still hardy enough for a first timer? I've heard these little ones are quite fragile and would like to start small. [link] [comments] | ||
