- I love the look and texture.
- I’m having babies! Snails that is.
- Talk about going for a ride
- Green toadstool I got yesterday (: how long until these open up?
- My 100 gallon is looking nice with all the extra time working from home!
- 24 hour power outage
- Death Stars!
- Roommate's mom wants to give away small saltwater tank with a clown fish to him/us, but have never cared for fish or a tank!
- Got this Kenya tree a little over a week ago. It immediately slumped over and has never picked itself back up. Any thoughts? Water was tested at my LFS with 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, and next to 0 nitrates. Salinity of 1.025, temperate at 80°. Any ideas?
- JF Salted Lime Macro
- Adding a sump
- Ai prime 16 setup questions
- Finally got my condy out of the tank but now no one will take it.
- Have the first residents of the 20G. They seem to like it...hoping the host the torch instead of the heater like the other clown.
- My 45 gallon cube, nothing super special but I’m proud of it all. AI Prime x1, Fiji Cube 20 w/ Jebao dcs-2000 pump, Eshopps PF-800 HOB overflow box, Innovative Marine DC wavemaker 253-2300 GPH
- What happened to my tank? 4 months old suddenly got cloudy. No ammonia or nitrates

| Posted: 26 May 2020 04:23 PM PDT Lost 2 shrimp and a clown. We had a major storm in south Texas, left me with out power for about 24 hours. Unfortunately my fire shrimp ive had for over 2 years as well as banded shrimp and a clown died. Bought some usb port bubble machine on ebay for next time sigh. On the bright all my corals opened up immediately and are fine. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 26 May 2020 02:42 PM PDT Hello! I split the rent on a house with a friend of mine. Yesterday he said that his mom no longer wants to care for the clownfish/tank that she has and asked if we wanted it. I had a saltwater tank in my home when I was younger and have always wanted a tank of my own. However, I have never owned or maintained a tank before (same as my roommate) and most importantly I want the clown fish to be properly taken care of. I spent several hours last night watching videos on how to maintain a saltwater tank, but also I still do not know all of the details of the tank in question. I think it's one of those like "easy" family clownfish tanks that you buy all-in-one like pre-assembled or something so I'm also worried about some weird proprietary equipment that can't be removed. I do not know if the tank contains live rock or sand or any corals. My roommate was under the impression that the maintenance was not much and only a monthly thing, but I was pretty sure that was not the case. Lo and behold, there are weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly maintenance required! Of course after watching the videos it all makes sense, and it actually was getting me excited about taking care of it. However, I don't want my excitement to influence my decision if the best decision is to let the fish go to someone with experience. I read that clown fish are very hardy and "easy" to take care of compared to other saltwater fish. I am coming here today looking for advice on whether or not we should take the fish and tank, as well as general advice on what I should do after taking the tank. I know there are several good aquarium stores in the area that I plan to visit. From what I remember about our tank when I was younger, the people at the aquarium stores were very enthusiastic about helping and would even offer to help you plan the start and maintenance of your tank, so I also plan to go to them for help. But, I also wanted to reach out online before I made any decisions. Let me know if you need any additional information. Thank you all very much! [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 26 May 2020 05:34 PM PDT I plan to add a sump to an existing 60 gallon reef tank, any recommendations? Not sure what I need in terms of piping and stuff. Looking at BRS website at the moment. [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 26 May 2020 03:30 PM PDT Hi, i just bought an Ai prime 16 to test out and just had a few questions. First on the settings, ive seen alot of videos showing different effects options like weather effectsand a slightly different app interface. I only have a dashboard/lighting/settings for my ap andbot the dashboard/control/devices/effects/settings i see online. Was i sent an outdated light or am i missing something there? Second, is there a way to upload a signature preset or do i have to imput for each by hand? [link] [comments] | ||
| Finally got my condy out of the tank but now no one will take it. Posted: 26 May 2020 02:46 PM PDT So I'm looking for advice. I have a condy that I have spent three weeks solid trying to get out of the tank. It was getting to the point where it was too big for the tank and zapping everything in its path. I finally annoyed the absolute hell out of it and got it transferred to a bag of water sitting in my tank. I thought I'd have an easy time rehoming it but all the places I normally go to for corals have closed their doors permanently due to the shutdown, have extremely reduced hours, or flat out don't take condys. The closest place that will currently take it is over an hour away. It's not like it's unhealthy or anything and I'd love to rehome it if possible. Is there a way where I can store this guy in my tank until some places start opening up? I don't want to have to throw it out but I also can't have him digging in my rock again.
